Homework Assistant (College Mathematics Edition) version 1.3.

Download and run the first installer from your my documents directory.
Pay attention to where it installs the program, but do not change this, you will need to browse here later.
Go to the directory it installed to (called "Homework Assistant" if you did not change it) and right click on hwa.exe (this is not the hwa.exe you downloaded)
Select create shortcut. Now move this shortcut to your desktop.
Then download the second
installer to your my documents directory and run it from there.
Note if you run the second installer from anywhere else this installation will not work.
The second installer takes under a second to run and will not give any message.
Before launching Homework Assistant please right click on its icon and select PROPERTIES. Choose the compatibility tab and pull down to Windows XP (Service Pack 2).
If you see a check box which says "Run as Administrator" select that box. Then press APPLY. Close the dialogue window.
If you did not see the check box, right click on the Homework Assistant icon again and choose "Run as Administrator". You will need to use "Run as Administrator" when you launch the program every time.
You will still need your registration code.
Codes are one time use.
When you submit homework to your instructor it will verify if you are using a previously used code.

The program opens but nothing is there?

1) Download the virtual box image here

2) Download and install VirtualBox on your Mac: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
3) Install the corresponding Virtualbox Extension Pack on your Mac
4) Open VirtualBox and import the antiX_HWA_xxxx.ova image
The installer says the code is invalid, now what?
Please email the tech support email address provided on the card with the code you are trying to use, note the code is on the card not in the textbook. Also please note that the code contains ones (1) and zeros(0), but no els (l) or ohs (O).
